Osaka Castle

Osaka, Japan

Osaka Castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks. It is surrounded by a moat and sits on 15 acres along with other structures like turrets and gates. The park is covered with cherry blossom trees and is a popular spot during sakura season. Wear comfortable shoes... it is quite a trek to reach the castle.

Go. See. Explore!

Finding your way around a new city (or country!) can be challenging but so rewarding when you finally find that cat cafe you've been searching for. Here are a few tips for navigating with GPS.

Tips for Using GPS

  1. Set your GPS before you leave.
  2. Make sure you also set your return destination.
  3. If you're using your smartphone, mount it at eye-level so you aren't looking away from the road.
  4. Expect hiccups. Siri gets confused sometimes, just like us.
  5. Try not to get discouraged if you make a wrong turn or miss your exit. Detours are opportunities to discover new things!
