Saihi Bus Terminal

Sasebo, Japan

The bus station offers express service to Fukuoka, Nagasaki, and the Nagasaki Airport. It is an inexpensive (and comfortable!) option to driving or taking the train. An English guide to riding the bus can be found at http://www.bus.saihigroup.co.jp/english.

Go. See. Explore!

Finding your way around a new city (or country!) can be challenging but so rewarding when you finally find that cat cafe you've been searching for. Here are a few tips for navigating with GPS.

Tips for Using GPS

  1. Set your GPS before you leave.
  2. Make sure you also set your return destination.
  3. If you're using your smartphone, mount it at eye-level so you aren't looking away from the road.
  4. Expect hiccups. Siri gets confused sometimes, just like us.
  5. Try not to get discouraged if you make a wrong turn or miss your exit. Detours are opportunities to discover new things!
